Day in and day out, the characters of an unfinished Shakespearean play relive the same first act of their story, until one of them notices they are secretly being watched by an audience of one – a shadowy girl in blue who disappears into the woods whenever she is seen. The characters learn that a book she carries in her backpack is the key to breaking free from their unfinished play and embarking on a perilous quest in modern-day England, where they discover not only the rest of their story, but the rest of the blue girl’s story as well. A touching yet light-hearted tale of love, loss, and letting go.
